Flower-lovers have been urged to make the most of the hundreds of tulips now in bloom at a National Trust property on the edge of Shrewsbury.
Attingham Park's Walled Garden on its grounds in Atcham is playing host to about 20 different varieties of the flower, with staff saying the displays are attracting plenty of admiring comments from visitors.
And Mary Rickards, one of the team that works in the Walled Garden, said that visitors should take the opportunity to have a look at the display while the chance is still there.
"The tulips have been flowering for probably the past month. They are really at their best now," she said.
Ms Rickards said that the tulips had been designed to bloom at different times of the year but because of this year's uncertain weather, most have come out at the same time.
"They are all blooming because the weather has been all over the place. I would say get down and see the tulips," she said.
"Visitors absolutely love them. We have unusual variety and that's what people appreciate.
"This year we have two completely new beds with which we have a whole range of different reds."
She said the names of the flower varieties are almost as colourful as the tulips themselves, with the likes of Queen of Night, Sorbet and Abu Hassan all on display.
