At two separate hearings at Kidderminster Magistrates Court on Saturday morning, Arshdeep Singh, 24, of Shaw Road in Tipton; Manjot Singh, 24, of Greenfield Road, Smethwick; Jagdeep Singh, 22, of Goodrich Mews in Dudley; and Shivdeep Singh, 26, also of Greenfield Road in Smethwick were remanded in custody to appear at crown court next week.

All four are accused of the murder of Aurman Singh on August 21.

Speaking through an interpreter, the four men spoke only to confirm their name and addresses.

The accused were told that no bail applications could be heard at the magistrates court, and all four were remanded in custody to appear before Stafford Crown Court on August 30.

The four defence solicitors representing the men said applications would "be reviewed" when the defendants appear before the crown court judge next week.

Aurman Singh, 23, of Topsham Road, Smethwick, died in Berwick Avenue, Coton Hill, on Monday afternoon while delivering parcels with a colleague for DPD.

An inquest into his death was opened and adjourned on Thursday.
