Shrewsbury residents are facing disruption to water supplies due to essential repair works.
Severn Trent Water have apologised for disruption in the SY3 area after some residents reported no supply, poor pressure or discoloured water this morning (October 16).
At 12.34pm, the water supplier said that the disruption was due to “some essential repair work” in the area which they “didn’t anticipate would affect customers”
They added: “We are aware that some customer’s supplies have now been impacted. The team on site are committed to getting this resolved quickly and efficiently so the water supply is back to normal as soon as possible.
“We’re very sorry for any inconvenience this may be causing and are confident this repair will be completed by 2pm.”
