No matter the time of year - there is never a good time for a kitty to be without a home.
Shropshire Cat Rescue is dedicated to finding caring homes for these deserving felines, and now, more than ever, they need kind-hearted individuals to provide the care, comfort, and affection they so desperately need.
From playful kittens to gentle senior cats, each has a unique story and a heart full of love, just waiting to meet theirs.

1. Rosie and Snoop are a bonded mother–daughter pair looking for a home together. They are sweet, affectionate cats who are calmer when together. Both had difficult pasts but are now neutered and ready for a relaxed life. They get on well with other cats and could suit a home with children depending on compatibility.

2. Sweetpea is a friendly, affectionate girl looking for a loving home. She enjoys attention from visitors but is also happy on her own, so would suit a working household. She needs a cat-free home, can live with dog-friendly dogs, and would be okay with older children but likely overwhelmed by younger ones.

3. PB and Beechy are two bonded cats who recently moved from a home into a shelter after their owner could no longer care for them, and they’ve both found the change difficult. Beechy has settled more quickly and now enjoys attention and fuss. PB has taken longer to adjust—he started very scared and withdrawn, but is slowly becoming more confident and curious, though he still prefers space and gentle, hands-off interaction. They are strongly bonded and will not be separated, as Beechy helps PB feel more secure. They are fine with other cats, haven’t been tested with dogs yet, and PB would likely find children too overwhelming.

4. Fluffy and Sparky are two affectionate brothers looking for a new home after their owner became ill. They were very anxious at first but have now settled and are showing their loving, playful personalities. Both enjoy fuss and attention, with Sparky being especially goofy and clumsy. They cannot go to a home with young children due to their initial fear-based behaviour. They seem fine with other cats and haven’t been dog tested yet, though this can be arranged.
