Shrewsbury MP Daniel Kawczynski asks Libya question

Shropshire MP Daniel Kawczynski has asked the Government what it is doing to resolve the humanitarian and political situation in Libya.
The Shrewsbury & Atcham MP, who is chairman of the All Party Group for Libya, has previously called for air strikes against Isis terror forces who have taken advantage of political instability to bring bloodshed to the country, causing a huge refugee exodus into southern Europe.
Yesterday he raised the issue again during Prime Minister's Questions.
He told David Cameron: "We have exchanged views and had many debates on Libya since our military involvement in that country in 2011 and yet the situation is getting worse and worse.
"What new steps and initiatives is he going to bring in conjunction with allies Egypt and Italy to ensure the situation is resolved?"
Mr Cameron replied: "It think my honourable friend is actually right to raise this and there will be some discussions at the G7 in Germany this weekend.
"We've got to a position where special representation from the United Nations has been bringing everybody together to try and form a national unity government and we need to give everything we can and to support that process because then there is some prospect of Libya having a government."
"From a government can then flow some security and from security can flow the ability to start to deal with the migrant issues."
Thousands of migrants are continuing to risk their lives by trying to reach Italy from Libya.
