“If you see suspicious vehicles, suspicious behaviour, or anything that doesn't look right in your area, please report it.”
Police in a south Shropshire town have successfully located and recovered a vehicle that was reported stolen in recent weeks.
Officers in West Mercia Police’s Ludlow Safer Neighbourhood Team recovered the stolen car after a member of the public tipped them off about a “suspicious vehicle”.
A spokesperson for the police has now urged the public to always take a proactive interest in “suspicious behaviour” and to report it to the force immediately.
They said: “Following concerns raised by a member of the community about a suspicious vehicle, Ludlow Safer Neighbourhood Team successfully located and recovered a vehicle that had recently been reported stolen.
