Crews called after fire at Oswestry shop

Part of a busy shopping street had to be cordoned off by firefighters following two incidents in Oswestry.
The fire service was called out just before 9.30am on Saturday after a till caught on fire in a shop on Bailey Street.
The fire at the Card Factory was out when a fire crew from the town arrived but the firefighters were able to ventilate the property and the shop was reopened very quickly.
While at the incident one of the firefighters noticed a television aerial hanging precariously from the roof of the George pub, across the street.
The turntable ladder fire appliance was called in from Shrewsbury to take down the aerial.
A fire service spokesman said: "Once we noticed the aerial we had a duty of care to members of the public."
