'Monopoly is to create Telford edition of famous board game' - Mr Monopoly launched the upcoming Telford edition of the popular board game at the famous Iron Bridge.
'Harry Potter star magics up 1980s film set in Bridgnorth' - people out shopping in Bridgnorth were met with a film set and real-life Harry Potter star, Matthew Lewis, filming a new crime drama for Channel 5.

'Sort out our potted roads!' - a week-long series looking at the the appalling state of our roads was launched. Pictured is a 'pothole nightmare' on the A442 from Telford to Bridgnorth.
'The pies have it as butchers wins twice' - Alderson Butcher's in Bridgnorth won an award for their Toffee Pie's and Morvillle Pastry, beating off competition including Fortnum & Mason as well as Waitrose. 'Poignant Easter gathering on landmark hill' - a Good Friday service was held beneath three huge crosses on Ratlinghope Hill. St Margaret's Church in Ratlinghope, near Bishop's Castle, erected the 10ft and 15ft crosses with help from local farmers.
'Meet the seasoned charity tractor run organiser - who is 12' - Zach Williams, from Kinnerley, was busy organising his second charity tractor run. His last effort reaped more than £600 for charity.

'Bomber flypast delights museum crowds' - the RAF Midlands Museum invited families from across the region to attend 'The Big Lift Off' event, to mark the start of a fundraising site-wide multi-million pound transformation project.
'What a beautiful day for a spot of gardening' - parks across the county were full of people enjoying the sunshine as temperatures reached 24C. Pictured at the Dingle in Shrewsbury Quarry is gardener Kevin Williams.

'Celebrations mark Independents' Day weekend for traders' - as our friends in America celebrated Independence Day, Shrewsbury Mayor Alex Wagner met traders along Wyle Cop area, celebrating our independent traders.
'Bikers take over the roads for ride out for air ambulance' - crowds watched the convoy as thousands of bikers from across the region took to the M54 in aid of the Midlands Air Ambulance Charity.
'We are flying!' - the Flying Scotsman at Kidderminster Severn Valley, to open the repaired line. Changing the name plate is: Paul Fathers and Andy Stringer.

'Balloons are out of this world' - hot air balloons lit up the skies at Oswestry Balloon Festival.

'Traders set to party as they prepare for diamond date' - market traders at Shrewsbury Market Hall celebrate as the building turns 60.

'National Trust museum deal' - it was announced that the National Trust was to take over Ironbridge's museums after a £9 million grant from the government.
'Patriotic campaign takes new twist as cows get in on act' - a patriotic pasture - the entire herd of cows in a field off the A442 near Bridgnorth, bearing the St George's Cross.
