A trailer containing a large amount of resuscitation training equipment has been stolen from a village near Market Drayton.
Police are appealing for anyone who might have been offered the unusual items, which include more than a dozen resuscitation dummies, to contact them as a matter of urgency.
The Ifor Williams single-axle trailer, which is low-sided and had a distinctive blue cover over the rear ramp, was taken between about 10.30pm on Tuesday and 6.45am yesterday from the Westfield area of Cheswardine.
Items inside the trailer included six resuscitation "Annies", four resuscitation "juniors" and four resuscitation "babies". Also inside was a crate of miscellaneous first aid equipment and a metal coffin trolley.
Constable Karena Evans said all the items were marked with a unique code and had been taken from the driveway of the victim's house.
"These items have no real use to anyone other than in the field of first aid training and I would ask people to be on the lookout for them."
