New Indian restaurant coming to Telford - here's where and when

Severn Lounge will serve Indian and Bangladeshi dishes in former home of Barley Mow pub and Spice of India restaurant

A new restaurant is set to launch later this month.

Severn Lounge will specialise in Indian and Bangladeshi cuisine when it opens for business on June 28.

It is based in Gower Street, near Oakengates town centre, in a building previously home to the Barley Mow pub and more recently restaurants Spice of India and Raj Cuisine.

The owners of Severn Lounge said the restaurant had been created with a vision of offering guests a warm and welcoming atmosphere, exceptional service and a menu inspired by the rich culinary traditions of Bangladesh and India.

"We are proud to become part of the local community and look forward to welcoming everyone through our doors."
