A Royal Python has been waiting for more than four years for his forever home in the West Midlands.
Rebel, a 10-year-old Royal Python, is said to be lively and mischeivous - just as his name suggests.
But since arriving at the Proteus Reptile Trust rehoming centre in Sedgley four years ago after his previous owner after his owner had a change in circumstances and could no longer provide long term care, he is still searching for a forever home.
Now, the charity have taken to social media appealing for anyone who could offer him a spot in their family.
A spokesperson for the Proteus Reptile Trust said: “Meet Rebel, the show-stealing Royal python with a flair for drama and a knack for mischief!
“Just like his name suggests, his lively antics might be the reason he's still searching for his forever stage.
“Rebel slid into our spotlight after his previous owner took a break from the rock 'n' roll scene.
“At the sprightly age of ten, this dapper snake dines on gourmet large weaner rats, keeping him in tip-top slithering shape!”
