Motorcyclist, 26, who was double the limit on busy A442 in Telford gets road ban
A motorcyclist who was more than double the drink-drive limit in Telford has been banned from the road.

Joshua Phipps, aged 26, rode a Hyosung GT on the A442 at Stirchley on March 7 last year.
A breath test found that Phipps had 72 micrograms of alcohol per 100 millilitres of breath in his system. The legal limit in England and Wales is 35mcg per 100ml.

Phipps, of Meadowlea, Madeley, Telford, pleaded guilty at Telford Magistrates Court to driving with alcohol above the specified limit.
Magistrates banned Phipps from driving any motorised vehicle on public roads for 17 months and fined him £162.
Phipps was also ordered to pay £150 in prosecution costs and a £65 victim surcharge, bringing his total legal bill to £377.
