One person cut free after van hits wall in Telford

The fire service had to cut a person free from a van after it crashed into a garden wall in Telford on Tuesday morning.

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said they received reports of a road traffic collision in Dale Road at 9.20am and that a person was trapped in their vehicle.

Two fire engines, including the Rescue Tender, were mobilised from Telford and Wellington.

Crews used rescue equipment including Holmatro cutters and a spreader to free the van's occupant.

There were no reports of any injuries and a stop message was issued at 9.52am.
