Car driver seriously injured in crash with tractor
A man was seriously injured after a crash involving a car and a tractor.
The incident took place on Little Meadow, Leebotwood, Church Stretton, around 3.12pm, this afternoon.
West Midlands Ambulance Service said that two people in the car were injured – one seriously – and both had been taken to hospital.
A spokesman said: "We were called at 3.12pm to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a tractor on Little Meadow, Leebotwood in Church Stretton.
"We sent two ambulances, a paramedic officer and the Midlands Air Ambulance from Cosford to the scene.
"Upon arrival we found the driver and passenger in the car.
"The driver had sustained serious injuries. He received treatment from ambulance staff at the scene.
"The passenger had sustained non-serious injuries. She received treatment at the scene.
"They were both conveyed to Royal Shrewsbury Hospital for further assessment.”
