Woman rescued from River Severn in Shrewsbury
Firefighters rescued a woman from the River Severn in Shrewsbury this morning.
Emergency services were called to the river off Sydney Avenue at 4am.
Four fire crews, including the water rescue unit, from Shrewsbury and Wellington attended.
West Midlands Ambulance Service has been contacted for comment.
