Llandrindod Wells man charged with drug supply offences is heading to crown court
A Llandrindod Wells man charged with drug supply matters will stand trial at the crown court.
Martin Thomas did not enter any pleas to three charges when he appeared at Llandrindod Wells Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The 48 year-old of Llwynbrain Villas, Howey was charged with being concerned in the supply of a quantity of cannabis to others in Llandrindod Wells between September 19 2002 to July 20 2024.
He was also charged with on July 19 2024 having in his possession a quantity of cannabis with the intent to supply it to others on and on July 19 2024 at Llandrindod Wells that he had acquired, used or had possession of criminal property, namely £3,070.
The court was told the charges could either be dealt with in the magistrates court or the crown court but the magistrates declined jurisdiction of the case and decided to send it to Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court.
A plea and trial preparation hearing will take place at Merthyr Tydfil Crown Court on May 12.
Thomas remains on unconditional bail until that date.
