The club has presented more than £12,000 to good causes in the last year

A rotary club has been celebrating the work of local charities.

Representatives from each charity attended the ceremony, where they were joined by Councillor Carolyn Healy, who was formally welcomed as an honorary member of the Rotary Club of Ironbridge.

The honour was awarded in recognition of her exceptional service and longstanding support to the Ironbridge community.

President Bob Gleave, together with Councillor Healy, presented certificates of appreciation to the organisations receiving donations.

The event highlighted the rotary’s commitment to supporting local causes and strengthening community partnerships across Ironbridge and the wider Telford area.

Ironbridge Rotary Club last year alone presented more than £12,000 to good causes, supporting a wide range of initiatives including community welfare, health projects, youth development, and heritage preservation.
