We visit the worst streets for 'inconsiderate' parking in Shropshire according to locals

We asked Shropshire residents where the most inconsiderate parking in the county can be found - and you had plenty of suggestions

We recently asked Shropshire Star readers where the worst inconsiderate parking in the county can be found - be it blocked pavements, double parking or cars over driveways - then went to take a look for ourselves.

See what our photographer found when he visited some of the spots mentioned by you:

Lawley came up more frequently than any other area in the responses to our post, one reader saying simply: “Lawley is a joke.” This part of Telford, where an old township has been transformed into one of the fastest-growing parts of the county, is full of new homes and the cars to go with them.

Birchfield Way is one of the longes and busiest roads in Lawley, stretching from near the Ketley Dingle Interchange and the M54 in the north down to its commercial centre in what is sometimes called Lawley Square.

One reader responded to our post to complain about “too many residents and visitors parking on the soft grass verges and wrecking them” in Belvidere Avenue.

Squinter Pip Way, which runs through the Bowbrook Meadows housing development that was completed about 10 years ago, was brought up by two commenters in response to our post.
