Ranked: The best and worst GP surgeries in Shropshire based on patients' experiences

In Shropshire, Brown Clee Medical Centre in Ditton Priors, Bridgnorth, came out on top with the vast majority of patients (98.8 per cent) saying they had a good overall experience.

The practice – which was 18th best in the whole of England – also scored 100 per cent for the ease of contact and app respectively.

Second on the list was Cleobury Mortimer Surgery, which scored 97.5 per cent, with The Meadows Medical Practice in Clun, Shawbirch Medical Practice in Telford, and Albrighton Medical Practice completing the top five.

The highest scoring Shrewsbury practice was Claremont Surgery at 94.5 per cent.

Meanwhile, at the bottom of the list was Teldoc, a “super surgery” which runs six practices in Telford.

Only 40.7 per cent of patients said they had a positive experience at the Malinslee-based surgery, resulting in it being the 50th worst in England.

Other low-performing GPs in the region were Wellington Medical Practice, Donnington Medical Practice and Charlton Medical Practice, Oakengates.
