People will have the chance to find out more about the plans to shake-up hospital services in the county.

Doctors, nurses and healthcare staff will be on hand to answer questions and people can also fill out a survey to have their say in the consultation process.

Tonight's public exhibition will be held at Meeting Point House in Telford town centre between 3.30pm and 7.30pm.

There will be another public exhibition at Shrewsbury Town Football Club on Thursday between the same times.

The Future Fit public consultation will run until midnight on September 4.

Health chiefs are encouraging people to have a say on the plans, which recommend having a single emergency department in the county.

David Evans, chief officer at Telford & Wrekin Clinical Commissioning Group, said: “These exhibitions are the perfect opportunity for people to really understand the proposals and to ask the questions that are important to them.

"The people answering the questions are the ones who have been involved in designing the new model of care so everyone who attends has the chance to really understand what it means for them.”

A further six public exhibitions have been arranged.
