A shop with two flats above in a West Midlands town centre that currently generates healthy rents of £21k a year is going to auction.
The mixed-use property at 51 & 51A Blackwell Street in Kidderminster will have an attractive guide price of £140,000 in the livestreamed auction next month.
Simon Senior, an auction valuer at Bond Wolfe, said: “This end-terraced property features a retail space on the ground floor and two one-bedroomed flats on the first and second floors, accessed via a side passageway.
“The shop is currently trading as Shahjalal Groceries, specialising in quality food from Bangladesh, with a retail area, counter, store cupboard and toilet.
“Flat 51A has a hall and dining area, kitchen, shower room, bedroom and living room, and Flat 51B, which has a hall, shower room, stairs rising to an office, kitchen diner, bedroom and living room.”
The property, which is being sold freehold subject to existing tenancies, is in a prominent position fronting Blackwell Street, just off the Horse Fair, with The Swan Shopping Centre and Crossley Retail Park close by.
