Free jacket potatoes from Staffordshire's Spudman up for grabs this weekend in rearranged Rugeley visit
The event was originally due to take place on July 25
Viral TikTok sensation Spudman is heading to Rugeley this weekend - with fans being given the chance to bag some free jacket potatoes.
Ben Newman, better known online as Spudman, will bring his popular loaded jacket potatoes to Rugeley Market Square on Saturday, August 22, from 10am to 3pm after his much-anticipated visit was rescheduled.
The event was originally due to take place on July 25 but has now been rearranged.
Spudman rose to fame through videos filmed at his jacket potato van in Tamworth, where his interactions with customers and famously long queues have attracted a huge following on TikTok.

Rugeley earned the chance to host the pop-up after winning a public vote in June. Five towns from across the region competed for the visit, with Rugeley taking 41 per cent of the total vote.
The event is being staged in partnership with London Northwestern Railway (LNR) to celebrate the introduction of its new Class 730 trains on the Trent Valley route, which connects Rugeley and other towns across the region with London.
As well as meeting Spudman, visitors will have the chance to get their hands on free loaded jacket potatoes and exclusive prizes.
Fans are being encouraged to sign up online for a chance to win limited free spuds and on-the-day prizes. Terms and conditions apply.
‘Spudman’ Ben Newman said he felt “very lucky” to have followers willing to travel long distances to visit him, adding that working with a train operator introducing new trains made the partnership “perfect sense”.
