Fire crews called out to avert flooding at Telford property
Flooding was affecting electrics.
Fire crews were called out over concerns about flooding at a Telford property.
Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service crews were dispatched to reports of flooding affecting electrics at a property yesterday (April 3).
Firefighters were sent to The Rock in Telford, after being alerted to the incident at around 6.15pm.
An update from the fire service explained firefighters had isolated water from an external stop tap because flooding in a property was affecting electrics.

Later a spokesperson for Tweedale Fire Station said a crew had been dispatched to support colleagues from Telford Central.
In a post on social media they said: “At 7.16pm today, we were requested to assist our wholetime colleagues at Telford Central Fire Station following reports of flooding that was affecting electrical systems.
“Our environmental protection unit was mobilised to provide specialist equipment and support, helping to safely clear the water and reduce further risk.
“Great teamwork on display to resolve the incident quickly and effectively.”
