Large crowd attends Mid Wales dairy farm dispersal sale

A genuine dispersal sale at a Mid Wales dairy farm attracted a large crowd last Saturday, as prices peaked at £17,500.

The farm machinery sale at Bryn-y-Maes, Abermule, near Newtown was conducted by Shrewsbury-based Halls Auctioneers on behalf of Rob, Jan and Barry George, who are relinquishing their tenancy.

A dairy herd, established at Bryn-y-Maes over 28 years by the George family, was sold at Shrewsbury Auction Centre last month.
