Water was continuing to pour down the River Severn on Sunday as Shropshire continued to feel the after effects of Storm Babet.

The river was peaking in Shrewsbury late on Sunday afternoon and was due to peak in Ironbridge on Monday.

Shropshire Star photographer Tim Thursfield captured the scene in Shrewsbury - where some youngsters had fun splashing in the water - as well as in Ironbridge and Jackfield.
