The B4397 is to be surface dressed between April 30 and May 15 in two phases when there will be road closures on three of the days from 9.30am to 4pm each day.
The first phase will see the road closed for the surface dressing from April 30 to May 1.
Then the second phase will see a closure for white lining the road on May 15.
Surface dressing is a quick, efficient and cost-effective way of preventing potholes, maintaining skid-resistance and waterproofing road surfaces.
During the closures access to the work areas will be maintained for residents, businesses with the closure emergency vehicles, highway personnel and utility or public service vehicles when safe to do so.
For all other traffic a signed diversion will be in place. Depending on their vehicle type, road users may be able to choose an alternative diversion route.
People are asked to ensure vehicles are not parked on the road whilst the work is in progress.
