Crown court trial for man accused of dangerous driving in Powys

A man accused of driving dangerously on a Powys road will stand trial at the crown court.

Liam Edward Fitzgerald denied driving a Maxmus Deliver 9 van dangerously on the A483 between Llandewi and Crossgates on August 3 2025, when he appeared at Llandrindod Wells Magistrates Court on Tuesday.

Magistrates accepted jurisdiction of the case but the 29 year-old of Watts Street, Horwich, Bolton elected a trial at the crown court.

Magistrates adjourned the case for a trial at Mold Crown Court on May 12 2026.

Unconditional bail will be extended until that date.
