Trial in November 2027 for Powys man accused of sexual assault

A Powys man accused of sexual assault on a female will stand trial next year.

Aaeron Evans, 33, of Cambrian Close, Brecon denied assault by penetration on August 30 2025, when he appeared at Cardiff Crown Court on Friday.

His Honour Judge Paul Hobson said a trial date has been fixed for November 1 2027 at Cardiff Crown Court and the trial is expected to last four or five days.

Evans will remain on conditional bail until that date.
