Man, 38, sent woman abusive messages and turned up at her Telford gym
Offender ordered to pay hundreds after harassment lasting almost a fortnight

A man who turned up at a woman’s gym and sent her abusive messages has been fined.
Ernest Evans, aged 38, harassed the victim in Telford between November 30 and December 12 last year.
His conduct also included pestering her with phone calls on a private number.
Evans, of Church Street, Wigan, Greater Manchester, pleaded guilty at Telford Magistrates Court to harassment.
Magistrates fined Evans £200 and made him subject to a 12-month community order, which includes probation service appointments,
Evans was also ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a £114 victim surcharge, bringing his total court costs to £399.
