Telford man, 36, who threatened two people with knives ordered to stay off booze
Judge hands down suspended sentence and orders forfeiture and destruction of blades
A man who threatened two people with knives has been ordered to stay off the booze.
Bobby Arnold, aged 36, had two kitchen knives in his possession when he threatened a man and a woman in Park Road, Donnington, Telford on May 1 last year.
Arnold, of Charlecote Park, Telford, pleaded guilty at Shrewsbury Crown Court to two counts of threatening someone with a blade in public and one of failing to surrender to bail, after missing a court hearing in September.
Recorder Anthony Warner handed Arnold a 14-month prison sentence, suspended for 12 months.
Arnold was also made subject of a nine-month alcohol treatment programme.
The judge also ordered the forfeiture and destruction of the knives.
