Road ban for drink driver, 23, who was double the limit on the A41

Offender also ordered to pay hundreds of pounds over motoring crime.

A drink driver who was more than double the limit on the A41 has been banned from the road.

Angel Webb, aged 23, drove a Ford Ka on the busy A-road near Albrighton on May 10 this year.

A blood test found that Webb had 164 milligrams of alcohol per 100 millilitres of blood. The legal limit in England and Wales is 80mg.

Webb, of Brands Meadow, Donnington, Telford, pleaded guilty at Telford Magistrates Court to driving with alcohol above the specified legal limit.

Magistrates banned Webb from driving for 17 months and fined her £192.

Webb was also ordered to pay £85 in prosecution costs and a £77 victim surcharge, bringing her total legal bill to £354.
