Presteigne man's court case adjourned for a review of the matter to take place
A Presteigne man accused of driving matters, has had his court case adjourned for a review to take place.
George Anthony Fitzgerald appeared at Llandrindod Wells Magistrates Court on Tuesday.
The 30 year-old of Hereford Street is charged with failing to provide a specimen for analysis at Newtown custody suite on July 11 when suspected of having driven a vehicle, using a silver Mercedes behind Lugg View on July 10 without insurance and driving whilst disqualified on the same date.
But duty solitor Ms Selby, mitigating for Fitzgerald questioned whether he was actually disqualified or not.
Prosecuting Ms Suzanne Cartwright said the Crown Prosecution Service would need to go back to the police to review the details in the case.
Magistrates adjourned the case until August 24 at Merthyr Tydfil Magistrates Court for that review to take place.
Fitzgerald remains on unconditional bail until that date.
