Ellesmere man, 32, who damaged someone's Skoda is hit with restraining order
Offender ordered to pay hundreds of pounds after causing damage to car
A man who damaged someone’s car has been ordered to pay compensation and been banned from contacting the victim.
Daniel Jones, aged 32, caused £360 of damage to a Skoda Octavia belonging to a man in Ellesmere on April 25 this year.
Jones, of Grosvenor Cottages, Ellesmere, pleaded guilty at Telford Magistrates Court to criminal damage.
Magistrates ordered Jones to pay £360 in compensation and made him subject of a one-year restraining order, banning him from contacting the victim.
Jones was also given a 12-month conditional discharge, meaning he could be re-sentenced for this crime more harshly if he reoffends in that timeframe, on top of any sentence for fresh crimes.
No further orders for costs were made.
