At around 3.45am, West Mercia Police officers responded to a report of a break-in, in which a vehicle had been used to ram the store front to gain entry.
The shop front was boarded up in the immediate aftermath.
Not long after the incident, police arrested a 33-year-old woman and a 31-year-old man on suspicion of burglary after the incident.
A large amount of the stolen goods were recovered.
Taylor, of Hayward Parade, Wombridge, Telford, pleaded guilty at Telford Magistrates Court to burglary.
Magistrates sentenced him to eight months behind bars. He was already behind bars for “similar” offending, so no pre-sentence report was ordered before his jail term was handed down.
