Telford Magistrates Court heard that there was no medical reason for Desmond Richards not to provide it after he tried and failed eight times.

Richards, aged 63, of Allerton Road, Shrewsbury, accepted his fate when he pleaded guilty to the offence on August 7 before the magistrates on Wednesday.

Prosecutor Sara Beddow said Richards was seen driving "significantly below the speed limit" at midnight in Sundorne Avenue, Shrewsbury.
