Telford fake cigarettes accused in court

A Telford man accused of selling customers unmarked tobacco products has appeared in court.

Sibil Ulku, 53, faced one count of dealing in unmarked cigarettes and one count of dealing in unmarked hand rolling tobacco at Telford Magistrates Court.

The case brought under the Tobacco Products Duty Act 1979 was adjourned due to a lack of an interpreter for the Turkish-speaking defendant.

Ulku, of Woodside Road, Ketley, was granted unconditional bail until November 2.
