Randy couple banned for life from Jet2 after trying to join mile high club before take off at East Midlands Airport

A randy couple has been banned from Jet2 for life after trying to join the mile high club before take-off.

The pair of holidaymakers have been banned for life by Jet2 for trying to join the mile-high club - before the plane had even left the ground at East Midlands Airport.

The couple were spotted by fellow travellers getting amorous in their seats during take-off last Thursday (16 April).

Passengers complained about their lewd behaviour and the crew considered turning back to East Midlands Airport, however, the flight continued to Gran Canaria.

According to The Sun, the couple, in their 50s, were subsequently kicked out of their Jet2 hotel and taken off the return flight.

A fellow passenger told the paper: “It was incredibly blatant, there was a lot of vigorous movement going on in his jogging bottoms.

“My wife and I were shocked and disgusted. We told a crew member and they came over to speak to the couple.

“But, when confronted, the couple claimed they were praying because it was their first time on a plane.”

They are now banned for life by the airline.

The airline said it takes “a zero-tolerance approach to appalling behaviour such as this.”

Jet2 said in a statement: “We can confirm that two passengers have been banned for life, following their behaviour on flight LS669 from East Midlands to Gran Canaria on Thursday 16th April.

“As a family friendly airline and holiday company, we take a zero-tolerance approach to appalling behaviour such as this.”
