Watch: Railings that are 'coming loose' prompt more wall safety fears at Bridgnorth Cliff Railway
Staff at Bridgnorth Cliff Railway say railings on a wall that surrounds the funicular train are coming loose and they fear for the safety of visitors.

Railway engineers said the railings along Castle Walk near to the top station in High Town are so loose they fear visitors and sightseers could be injured if they give way.
The railings were repaired by Shropshire Council several years ago, but Cliff Railway staff say that the wall supporting the railings is now “crumbling away”.
A spokesman for the Bridgnorth Cliff Railway said: “The second and third railings are the worst. The concrete pillars that are supporting them were repaired by the council less than three years ago but are now crumbling away.
“This area is packed with sightseeing visitors at weekends and are in very dangerous condition.
“The council has been informed many times but they have not been out to investigate or seem to show any interest in repairing them.”
However, he added that it was unlikely the attraction would have to close due to the issue.
The cliff railway was reopened to the public in March after being closed for more than 14 months due to a damaged retaining wall.
The wall was repaired by Bridgnorth Town Council at a cost to local taxpayers of £750,000.
However, staff at the railway say the railings along Castle Walk are the property of Shropshire Council and not Bridgnorth Town Council, although the latter has been informed of the issue.
Shropshire Council has been approached for comment.
