Retired company director banned for drink-driving after collision on country road
A retired company director has apologised to a judge after being found over the drink-drive limit.

Andrew Leather, of Billingsley, near Bridgnorth, was breathalysed after his Vauxhall Corsa was involved in a minor road traffic collision on October 15 last year.
Telford Magistrates Court was told on Tuesday that the 65-year-old had drunk two pints after taking his son to a train station. On his way home he was then involved in the collision at the It was on the junction of the B4555 and Covert Lane, between Bridgnorth and Billingsley.
While nobody was hurt in the crash, Leather was breathalysed and arrested when he was found to have 48 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 millilitres of breath - the legal limit is 35mg.
The court heard Leather had been involved in a similar offence 19 years ago.
Leather, who had pleaded guilty to driving a motor vehicle when above the legal alcohol limit, told the court that he "sincerely apologised" for his actions.
District Judge Kevin Grego told him: "You were over the limit, not by very much, but you should have known better as you have been in this position before."
He disqualified Leather from driving for 12 months but told him if he sits a drink-drive rehabilitation course he could get his licence back after nine months. He was also ordered to pay £835 in fines, fees and surcharges.
