Bonnie & Clyde is coming to the stage at Theatre on the Steps this Saturday.

The week-long production sees members of the Bridgnorth and wider Shropshire community swap their day jobs for the spotlight as they take on the award-winning musical based on the infamous American outlaws Bonnie Parker and Clyde Barrow.

Telling the true story of two small-town dreamers whose rise to notoriety captured America's imagination during the Great Depression, Bonnie & Clyde combines a powerful score with a fast-paced tale of ambition, romance and rebellion.

The show is one of the most ambitious and exciting productions staged by Theatre on the Steps Community Company, following recent sell-out successes including Beauty and the Beast and The Addams Family.
Director Nikki Genner said: "Our cast and crew have put in months of hard work to bring this remarkable story to life, and we're proud to showcase the talent that exists right here in our community. Bonnie & Clyde is a thrilling musical, and we can't wait to share it with audiences. Every ticket sold helps support a theatre that has been at the heart of Bridgnorth for more than 60 years."
Bonnie & Clyde: The Musical runs from Saturday June 13 to Saturday, June 20 at Theatre on the Steps, Bridgnorth. Tickets start from £13 and can be booked online at theatreonthesteps.co.uk, via the box office in the Town Hall Building, High Street, Bridgnorth, or by phone on 01746 766477.
