Albrighton's High Street to close for seven days of resurfacing works
High Street will be shut on weekdays
A road through the centre of Albrighton will close for several days next months for resurfacing.
High Street in Albrighton will be shut on weekdays between Monday, June 15 and Tuesday, June 23, to allow crews to lay a new asphalt surface.
The closure, between the junction with Cross Road and The Smithy, will be in place between 9.30am and 4pm.
The council says the resurfacing will create a smoother and more durable road and reduce the need for future repairs.

Access will be maintained, when safe, for residents and businesses within the closure, as well as for pedestrians, dismounted cyclists, equestrians and emergency vehicles.
All other traffic will be directed along a signed, five-mile diversion route, though drivers may be able to choose an alternative, shorter route depending on their vehicle type.
People living on the route are being asked not to park on the road while work is under way.
All planned roadworks are subject to change due to weather or unforeseen circumstances, with updates posted on the One Network website.
