Watch: 10 amazing photos show hundreds taking to the streets as Bridgnorth's annual walk returns
Hundreds of people put their best foot forward for charity as Bridgnorth's annual walk returned.
Each year hundreds of competitors don their walking shoes and take part in one of the events at the walk, including a full marathon, family walk and the gruelling 21.5 walk that includes a climb up Brown Clee.

This year saw numerous groups take part in the walk, including the town's Bridgnorth Spartans junior football team that fielded around 100 walkers, as well as a similar number of pupils from Castlefields Primary School who were raising money for the Severn Valley Railway following its landslip.

This year's event also had a military theme as it coincided with the VE Day celebrations taking part this week up and down the country.

Hundreds of people lined the route as the walkers set off on Monday morning.

There was a funfair laid on at Cleobury North where the family and junior walks begin.

The walk has taken place in the town since 1967 and since 2017 has been run by the town's Lions Club.
Each year it raised around £100,000 for charities and good causes, and organisers the Lions said they hoped this year will be no different.
