Jeep Avenger 85th Anniversary edition goes on sale from £30,395

The compact crossover boasts lots of extras over the standard model and is available with Jeep’s ‘4xe’ hybrid all-wheel drive system.
Jeep has announced orders have opened for the Avenger 85th Anniversary edition with prices starting at £30,395.
The Avenger is the firm’s smallest model and sits on Stellantis’ ‘STLA Small’ platform, which is shared with the Peugeot 2008 and Vauxhall Mokka.
This special edition model celebrates 85 years since the original Willys Jeep was signed off in 1941, and features lots of upgrades over the standard car.
Its exterior boasts an illuminated front seven-slot grille, ‘85’ badges on the front wings and 18-inch alloy wheels with gold accents.

Inside, the cabin features tartan-patterned, cloth and vinyl seat upholstery with embossed 85 logos, while standard equipment includes LED matrix headlights, LED fog lights and a 360-degree surround parking camera.
Under the bonnet, the Avenger 85th Anniversary can be specced with a 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine that produces 98bhp. The ‘e-Hybrid’ model is priced from £31,395 and uses the same 1.2-litre unit but mated to a 48-volt battery that puts out 108bhp.

Furthermore, the car can be fitted with Jeep’s ‘4xe’ hybrid all-wheel drive system and starts from £33,395. It uses the familiar 1.2-litre engine, but has two electric motors located on the front and rear axle which increase power to 143bhp.
The electric model comes in at £33,599 and is equipped with a 54kWh battery pack and a single electric motor that develops 153bhp and can travel up to a claimed 248 miles between charges.
Deliveries of the Jeep Avenger 85th Anniversary edition are expected to commence later this year.
