Finishing touches ahead of Shrewsbury Flower Show this weekend
The final preparations are being made in the 'town of flowers' so visitors to Shrewsbury's showpiece event have a blooming marvellous time.
Shrewsbury Flower Show takes place this Friday and Saturday in the Quarry, and organisers have been working feverishly to get everything set up.
This year's show has a packed programme of events for both days, including performances from chart-topping bands Liberty X and Go West.
Amanda Jones, from Shropshire Horticultural Society - the organisation which runs the show - believes there is plenty to be excited about, but warned visitors not to take glasses or glass bottles into the venue.
She said: "To comply with the premises licence, no glass bottles or glasses can be brought in."
