Halloween fright night at Blists Hill - in pictures
Halloween came early at Blists Hill when the Victorian Town looked like the set of a horror movie for the evening.
The annual fright night was sold out on Saturday with hundreds of visitors enjoying a spooky night out.
Most got into the spirit, dressing up in incredible costumes.
Ghostly gaslight and spookily-lit buildings greeted those walker through the main gates.
The streets, shops and houses of Blists Hill were transformed into eerie places filled with ghosts, ghouls and monsters, many with scary stories to tell.
Visitors could follow a trail around the historic streets to discover more about Victorian Halloween traditions.
They could even enjoy a real taste of one tradition of days gone by.
Blists Hill bakery made Soul cakes, a cross between a cake and a biscuit, that were handed out to the poor who used to go door-to-door saying prayers on All Souls day.
One of the most terrifying characters of Victorian times, Sweeney Todd the demon barber, was one of the characters who told visitors terrifying tales.
Fortune telling games were played in the Victorian cottages and an exhibition of the spooky pictures created all half term as part of the national, Big Draw Festival was on display.
