Shrewsbury Town's friendly at Tamworth cancelled
Shrewsbury's friendly at Tamworth this weekend has been cancelled due to 'unforeseen circumstances', the club have announced.
Town were due to head over to the Lamb Ground on Saturday afternoon but the game will no longer go ahead, with those who purchased tickets set to be given full refunds.
Shrewsbury confirmed the news in a short statement which read: "Shrewsbury Town Football Club can confirm our pre-season fixture at the Lamb Ground on Saturday 17 July against Tamworth has been cancelled due to unforeseen circumstances.
"Full refunds will be processed by Tamworth in due course."
