Fire service called as telehandler catches fire

Fire crews in Shropshire had to use breathing apparatus when they were called out to a tractor fire in Craven Arms on Wednesday night.

A telehandler similar to this caught fire in Craven arms

Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service (SFRS) said a telehandler, a type of tractor with a telescopic loader on the front, caught fire at a yard in Westhorpe.

SFRS said the telehandler was "100 per cent involved in fire".

Two fire engines attended the scene at around 7pm and had the blaze extinguished by 7.53pm.
