Air ambulance sent to woman in cardiac arrest in Shawbury

An air ambulance and two land ambulances were today sent to a woman in cardiac arrest in Shawbury.

Claire Brown, spokeswoman for West Midlands Ambulance Service, said: "We were called just after 4pm to a medical emergency opposite Shawbury airfield.

"We've got an air ambulance, two land ambulances, a community first responder and a paramedic on scene.

"The patient is in cardiac arrest."
