Inspectors found that staff at Claverley Medical Practice knew their responsibilities and that risks to patients were well managed.

The safety of services was rated as "requires improvement" during a previous inspection in 2015, but inspectors noted that it had improved in the time since.

The report said: "Patients' needs were assessed and care was planned, and best practice guidance was followed.

"Procedures had been reviewed and systems introduced to ensure the safe management of medicine practices, which included effective procedures to monitor patients prescribed high risk medicines.

"There was a clear leadership structure and staff felt supported by the management and the practice proactively sought feedback from patients. Improvements had been made to protect patient confidentiality at the practice branch site."

Inspectors found that new systems had been introduced to ensure the safe management of medicine practices, including effective procedures to monitor patients prescribed high risk medicines.

They wrote: "Infection control audits had been completed and facilities improved to reflect nationally recognised guidance.

"At this inspection we found that the practice had resolved all the concerns raised during its previous inspection and is now rated as good for providing safe services."

The practice was inspected on January 12 and the report was released to the public earlier this week.

Claverley Medical Practice's Dr Peter Jones said: "We are satisfied with the inspection and the report indicates all areas are good."
