Dramatic fire swallows tractor in Shropshire field
A tractor was engulfed in flames in a Shropshire field.
A fire involving a tractor and attached farming implement was reported just before 7pm last night off Wood Lane, near Wollerton.
Firefighters from Hodnet and Market Drayton attended and used a main jet of water supported by a portable pump to extinguish the large fire.
The Shropshire Fire and Rescue Service said that the 'stop message' was sent back to base at about 8.20pm.
This means that the firefighters at the scene were certain that no more assistance was needed.
